A demo
version of The Karaoke Information Search System (The KISS) can be
downloaded from this site for a 30 day evaluation period. At
the end of that period, the program will automatically disable
itself. During the evaluation, the number of records that can
be extracted are limited to 1,000 and the number of pages that can be printed
are limited to 10. All of the features are functional, but the total number of records in the Master
Database is merely a preview. The current
demo version only contains about 40,000 tracks while the live version is
approximately 130,000. We do exclude vocal versions of tracks in
both our demo and live master databases.
The purpose
of the evaluation period is to offer you an opportunity to see just
how simple it is to build and maintain a database of your karaoke
tracks, to see what is available and to print songbooks. There
are a number of programs now available in the marketplace, however,
none are as user friendly nor do they offer all of the feature
functionality provided by The KISS. Why is this? Because
we listen to our users suggestions and we never assume that it's
perfect.
The file is
very large (approximately 14 mg) and, unless you are connected to
the internet by DSL , T1 or T3, you may find the download time to be
excessive.
