Asked Questions Q. I am a subscriber to the update service. I'm very interested in reviewing the new disc's that are added to the Master File. Is there a way to do this? A. Absolutely. After you have applied an update, return to the browser screen and, in the box where you select the table you want to use, choose "Update". This will list all of the tracks that were added as "New" in the most recent update. Keep in mind that the next time you apply an update, this information will be overlayed. Q. Is there some way to get a list of the disc's I have in my inventory? A.
In the "Advanced" version of the program, select the
"System Maintenance" option and, at the bottom of the
screen, you'll notice to "radio buttons". One is
labeled "Main" the other is labeled "Newsongs".
When you select either of these, it will do two things. First it
will display a list of your disc's with both Manufacturer ID and your
KJID. You can sort and resort on either of these. The
second thing the routine does is creates two files in your root
directory ("C:\") labeled "discinvk.csv" and
"discinvd.csv". Either file can be opened using a
spreadsheet program and they will display the same information you saw
on the screen. Keep in mind that if you do this once with your
"Main" file and once with the "Newsongs" file, the
csv files will be overwritten. So....if you want to save one or
both, run the routine, open the file and save it with a description
that will be useful to you before running the routine for the other
